How it works

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the calories your body burns at rest. Multiplying BMR by an activity factor gives your maintenance calories (TDEE). To lose about 0.5 kg/week, eat ~500 fewer calories/day; to gain, eat ~500 more.
